About the artwork:

as an independent photojournalist Eduardo in January 2011 moved from Ramallah to Cairo, reaching the city few hours before the beginning of the Egyptian Revolution.

He was in Tahrir square since the beginning of the uprising till Mobarak's resignation, covering for leading magazines worldwide the popular uprising and most of all, living it.

For his coverage of the Egyptian events he was awarded with World Press Photo 2012.

His commitment to the Egyptian struggle for freedom comes from the deep human experiences he lived on the ground between 2011 and 2014.
The background stencil has been developed from a picture of a soldier he realized in Cairo in 2013. 

The artwork is one of the first Eduardo did in the streets of Naples back in 2017 near the famous Piazza Bellini. It survived these years, always respected by people and neighborhood.
